5-2-1 Changing Papers (from narrower paper to wider paper)
Note: When the width of paper is changed, ensure to change the Paper Width Guides of L8100. The
paper width adjustment cardinal point is from center.
1. Open [Paper Holder Cover] and widen the span of
[Paper Width Guides] with [Paper Width Adjust Knob]
on the back to match the width of the paper to be used.
If the knob is hard to turn, remove Hook by turning
[Paper Holder Lock Lever] and slightly lift [Paper Holder]
by hand to allow smooth turn of the knob.
Note. Lifting [Paper Holder] slackens the tape and paper. Paper Holder
Set [Paper Holder] while slightly pulling paper by hand. Paper Width Guides
2. Set the paper following the steps in “5-2”.
5-2-2 Changing Papers (from wider paper to narrower paper)
1. Open [Paper Holder Cover] and send the paper by turning Separator
[Paper Feed Roller Knob] to about 1cm before [Separator].
2. Unlock [Paper Holder] and lift it slightly by hand and
disengage the paper from [Paper Width Guides].

3. Narrow the span of [Paper Width Guides] with
[Paper Width Adjust Knob] on the back to match
the width of the paper to be used.
4. Lock Paper Holder.
5. Set the paper following the steps in “5-2”.
