Remove  the  top  front  panel.  This  panel  is  positioned  on  the  freezer  housing  with  guide  pins  at 
either side, with locating holes on the main body of the cabinet. 
Stand in front of the freezer facing it. 

Take a firm grip of both sides of the front plate and pull it forwards (towards you) using minimum 
force. 
As soon as the locating pins are released from the holes, the panel will free of the main cabinet  

Avoid  drawing  the  panel  too  far  from  the  freezer  as  there  is  a  ribbon  cable  which  connects  the 
controller to the freezer refrigeration system. 

Vacuum-clean the radiator then carefully install the front panel, guide the two locating pins into the 
holes and then press back into place. 

How to defrost the freezer: 

Remove  contents  from  the  freezer,  switch  off  the  power,  allow  all  the  ice  to  melt,  wipe  dry,  and 
switch on the power again. 

How to check CO

weight: 

Weigh the  CO

2

 flask  and compare  it  with  the  Tare  weight  of  the flask.  A full 180  l flask contains 

approx.  22  kg of  CO

2

.  One  hour’s  use  is  1

-3  kg  of  CO

when  regulated  at  -70 

C  depending on 

cabinet volume and type. 

Carry  out  a  function  test  by  pressing  the  test  button  positioned  on  the  front-side  of  the  battery 
charger and observe that CO

2

 is injected into the freezer. 

Trouble shooting 

ALARM is activated - action: 

The freezer gives an alarm: A 

“beep”

 sounds, and the display shows the alarm code. 

Press  

 the alarm signal stops. The red LED will flash, if a new alarm starts the acoustic will 

start again. 

The display will flash until the fault has been eliminated and the temperature is within limits. 

Error Codes: 

E6: Power failure. 
E5: Pressure switch 1 is OFF. 
E4: Pressure Switch 2 is OFF. 
E3: Door has been open too long time. 
E2: Too high temperature in the freezer. 
E1: Too low temperature in the freezer.
