Installation
Note
The operating temperature of the freezer compartment is pre-set to
–
80 °C at the
factory, which is the optimum operating temperature with regards to the
environmental conditions (sound level, power consumption etc). To change this
temperature to e.g.
–
87 °C follow the instructions in section 7.
The specifications stated in section 10 are obtained at an operating temperature of
–
80 °C.
Do not install the freezer were it could be exposed to dust or particulate contamination.
The noise level is stated as maximum 45 dB(A). This is valid only during operation of the
compressor, which is approximately 33 % of the time otherwise the freezer is completely silent
during normal operation.
The freezer may be installed as a stand-alone unit or positioned under a work table or laboratory
bench. In both cases the following conditions must be observed:
1
Maximum room temperature of 32 °C.
2
Minimum distance to walls etc. 100 mm.
Position the freezer to avoid direct exposure to sunlight and other sources of heat.
The adjustable feet compensates for any uneven flooring.
