System Components and Collector Chamber Isolation 

This test determines if the source of a leak is in the tray dryer. 
 

1.  Remove the tray dryer. 
2.  Leave the gasket on and turn a large freeze dry flask upside down to cover the 

connection port. 

3.  Start the freeze dryer and observe the vacuum level. If the vacuum level is good 

then the leak is in the tray dryer and you should return to the previous section,
