Vacuum Pump Connection 

A vacuum pump, as described in Chapter 2: Getting Started, is required to operate your 
Extraction Freeze Dryer properly. The freeze dryer is equipped with a ¾

” ID vacuum 

hose for connecting the collector chamber to the vacuum pump. 
 

 

 

If using an oil vacuum pump, make certain that the oil is at the proper level prior to 
operation.
