4.1.4 Basic Defaults
The “Basic Default” menu allows the user to load the factory default settings for all parameters not included in
the Advanced Settings menu. Loading basic default settings will not reset any settings included in the advanced
section of the Settings menu.

Test LEDs
The “Test LEDs” menu allows the user to run a basic lamp test on the A39DS. After selecting this menu, press
the “ENTER” button to light all the LEDs on the display membrane. To end the LED test, press back.

Reset Alarms
The “Reset Alarms” menu allows the user to reset all alarms. This feature can be used to clear alarms when
certain alarms have been set to latch upon triggering.

Last 10 Events
Displays the last 10 events that have occurred on the front screen of the charger. This is to be used as a quick
reference.

Manual Start – Zero Volt Battery Start
The “Manual Start” menu allows the user to start the charger when the battery voltage is lower than the minimum
detection voltage. This feature should only be utilized (1) when the battery is discharged to a level the charger
does not recognize, and (2) when the battery can tolerate the minimum output voltage setting of the charger.
See the output voltage setting information below:

The 30V model has a minimum output voltage setting of 2V.
•
The 60V model has a minimum output voltage setting of 6V.
•
The 90V model has a minimum output voltage setting of 8V.
•
The 150V model has a minimum output voltage setting of 12V.
After selecting this menu, press the “ENTER” button. To start the charger, select YES & press the “ENTER”
button again. The charger will start charging the battery with the minimum output voltage setting & 10%
current limit.
