CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Cleaning and maintenance made by Customer before each cold ignition
by using an aspirator:
•
Open the cover and draw the fire surface.
•
Remove the crucible, verify the cleanliness and clean the slots too.
•
Aspirate the chamber compartment, clean the edges of contact, replace the
crucible.
•
Drain the ash pan, if present.
•
Clean the glass with a wet or dry cloth ( always when stove is cold). It is possible
to use the ash to clean the glass by combustion residues.
Note: while replacing the crucible, please make sure that its edges fully adhere to their
location and that the hole matches with the resistance pipe: there must be no
residue
in the combustion zone of contact between the edges of the crucible and the crucible
support surface. Close the cover and the ash pan.
PERIODICAL MAINTENANCE MADE BY SERVICE CENTER
Every 6 months:
•
General cleaning of inner and outer flue of the stove
•
Removal of the inner lining of the firebox, thorough cleaning and descaling of
crucible and corresponding compartment.
•
Clean fan and mechanically inspect plays and fastenings.
•
Clean, inspect and descale ignition resistance and its compartment.
•
Clean the front panel keypad and the remote control.
•
Visual inspection of electrical wiring, connections and power cable.
•
Clean pellet hopper and check auger with cochlea- auger motor.
•
Functional test, screw feeding loading, ignition.
Every 12 months:
In addition to all transactions foreseen every 6 months:
- Replace cartridge power ( if used daily with over 3 ignitions per day)
- Inspect and clean the smoke duct.
- Inspect and check the chimney flue draft ( possibly perform or require
cleaning)
