4.2 DIRECT ACCESS
SELECTING CHANNELS FOR EDITING
The DPF3103 is a dual channel unit which can be used as two separate processors
or linked for stereo operation. When linked all adjustments are made equally to both
channels. Some of the processors e.g. Graphic EQ allow different settings for each
channel but still allows them to be linked. The offset between channels is maintained.
The Parametric and Dynamics processors do not allow different settings for channel
A & B in link mode and asks you to copy the values from one to the other. See
description of individual processors for details
CHANNEL SELECT:

which channel/s are selected. Adjustments are made to the selected channel
only.

CHANNEL SELECT
buttons are not functional in the HOME and UTILITY
pages.
Channel selection (A, B or both) is maintained in all editing, processors
and STORE. Check you have the correct Channels selected before
making changes.
FREQUENCY SELECT 20 .... 20k:
The function of these buttons depends on which processor (FUNCTION) is
selected -
GRAPHIC
The 31 buttons provide direct access to the ISO centre frequencies on the
GRAPHIC equaliser.
•
Press a single button to select that frequency
•
Press and hold two frequency buttons together to select and adjust the
gain of a band of frequencies.
PARAMETRIC & FILTERS
There are 3 groups of (Blue) buttons associated with the PARAMETRIC EQ
which give direct access to FREQUENCY, GAIN and Bw (Bandwidth) for each
band.
In FILTERS mode the two (Blue) buttons at either end give access to the
FREQUENCY (HIGH & LOW) and SLOPE (GAIN).
