Hint on Hub Assist Statistics:
The hub-assist statistics work as follows: Terminals A, B, and H are
present on the network. Terminal A is transmitting data to Terminal B;
hub-assisted is through Terminal H. A review of the specific terminals
displays the following:
At Terminal A‟s TX Comm statistics, the HCI populates the values for
destination Terminal B, as opposed to H. These values indicate the
burst parameters and allocated rate being used to transmit the hub-
assisted data to H, with the hub-assist flag enabled.
At Terminal H‟s RX Comm statistics, the HCI populates the burst
parameters, allocated rate and C/No values for bursts being received
from source Terminal A with the hub-assist flag enabled.
At Terminal H‟s TX Comm statistics, the HCI populates the values for
destination Terminal B. These values indicate the burst parameters
and allocated rate being used to transmit to B, with the hub-assist flag
disabled.
A Terminal B‟s RX Comm statistics, the HCI populates the burst
parameters, allocated rate, and C/No values for bursts being received
from Terminal H, with the hub-assist flag disabled.
