6-1-5 How to use KEW 4506
(1) Press
button to select “3P”.
When you test a 3P socket with earth pole (E) correctly connected,
while “2P” has been selected with
button, KEW 4506
automatically switches the settings for “3P” and
indicator
blinks at testing for the first time.
(2) Connection

CAUTION
● Use the power cord and test leads supplied with the tester only.
Kyoritsu is by no means liable for any damage resulting from the
use of commercially available power cord and test leads.
● KEW 4506 may not judge the wiring condition if test lead with
IEC connector KAMP10 or MODEL 7284 is degraded and the
internal resistances are extremely changed.

Firmly connect test lead with IEC connector KAMP10 or MODEL
7284 to KEW 4506 before connecting the plug of the test lead to
the outlet to be tested.
