Setting the destination
Description
Switches the operations and screens of the machine according to the destination.
Purpose
To be executed after initializing the backup RAM, in order to return the setting to the value before replacement
or initialization.
Method
Press the start key. The screen for selecting an item is displayed.
Setting
1. Press the start key.
2. Select the destination.
3. Press the start key. The setting is set.
4. Turn the main power switch off and on.
Supplement
The specified initial settings are provided according to the destinations in the maintenance items below. To
change the initial settings in those items, be sure to run maintenance item U021 after changing the destina-
tion.

Switching between double and single counts
Description
Switches the count system for the total counter and other counters.
Purpose
Used to select, according to the preference of the user (copy service provider), if A4/Letter paper is to be
counted as one sheet (single count) or two sheets (double count).
Setting
1. Press the start key.
2. Select the count system.
Initial setting: DBL COUNT(FOLIO)
3. Press the start key. The setting is set.
Completion
Press the stop key. The screen for selecting a maintenance item No. is displayed.
