Get Started

Note:

Please be careful to not insert the SIM card into the SD card slot.

Replace the SIM/microSD guard.

Place the battery back into its compartment and replace the battery cover.

Warning:

Make sure you press all around the edges of the battery cover to ensure

your phone's waterproof seal is intact.

Turn Your Phone On and Off

The instructions below explain how to turn your phone on and off.

Turn Your Phone On

Open the phone and press and hold the END/POWER

key

until the screen lights

up.

Open the phone and press and hold the END/POWER key

until you see the

powering-down animation on the main screen.

Setup Wizard

When you turn on your phone for the first time, the Setup Wizard starts automatically and helps

you to activate your phone and set it up to be ready for use.

Follow the on-screen instructions.

Important:

If you plan to use the Device Control feature, you need to follow the specific

procedure for the phone’s initial set-up before selecting a language option. See

Device Control

Note:

Do not activate Device Control if you will use Verizon Mobile Device Management

(MDM).
