VPN settings
A virtual private network (VPN) is a network that uses a public telecommunication infrastructure,
such as the Internet, to provide remote offices or individual users with secure access to their
organization’s network. For more information about the VPN settings, see

Airplane Mode allows you to use many of your phone’s features, such as Photos, Camera, and
Music, when you are on an airplane or in any other area where making or receiving calls or data
is prohibited. When you set your phone to Airplane Mode, it cannot send or receive any calls or
access online information.
To turn Airplane Mode on or off from
Quick Settings
:
1.
Slide the status bar down to the bottom of the touchscreen. If necessary, tap
to
expand the Quick Settings panel.
2.
Tap
Airplane
to turn Airplane mode on or off. To turn on Airplane Mode, read the
message and tap
OK
. While in Airplane Mode, the status bar will display

Wireless emergency alerts
Your phone is compatible with the federally supervised cell phone alert services to send out
broadcast SMS messages for public warning:
