Setting an alert for roaming charges
Use this setting if you want the phone to alert you if you roam outside of
your home service area.
1. Select
Menu
→
Settings
→
Network
→
Roam/Srvc Alert.
2. Select an option and press

Disabled
will not alert you if you roam outside your home service area.
•
When no service
alerts you with three tones, decreasing in intensity, when
service is lost. When service is acquired again, you will hear three tones
in increasing intensity.
•
On roam change
alerts you with two tones, decreasing in intensity, when
roaming service is acquired. When home area service is acquired again,
you hear three tones, increasing in intensity.
•
On any change
alerts you with three increasing tones if there is a change
in roaming service or three decreasing tones if the phone loses service.
