Adjust BUC attenuation for each ASM:
a.
Copy the script
tx_cal.py
into the mTenna Plus directory
/storage/tmp
using WinSCP or similar.
b.
Connect to the mTenna Plus via SSH, and then navigate to the directory
/storage/tmp
$ cd /storage/tmp
c.
Run the script
tx_cal.py
in a Python interpreter with arguments as follows:
# arguments [number of ASMs] [ASM1 p1dB] [ASM2 p1dB] [ASM3 p1dB] [ASM4 p1dB]
# examples:
# python tx_cal.py 4 -25 -24 -24 -26
# python tx_cal.py 3 -25 -24 -24
$ python tx_cal.py 4 -23 -23 -22 -19

The script above addresses the ASMs and sets the attenuation. To confirm the attenuation was set, navigate to
the ASM’s web user interface
Pointing
>
Commissioning Mode
and view the BUC attenuation setting. If the
attenuation does not match the attenuation set by the script, set it manually.
