Service ID
This presetting is the service ID, also called program number, of the DVB-C program in which the
data will be sent from the headend to the field devices. The measuring instrument scans the DVB-C
channel set for this number. It can also be called up in the mode menu via
MODE
->
Service ID
.

20.4
Measurement options
The following sections give just a rough description of the operation and the call-up of
measurement options of the two Upstream Measurement Systems
UMS
and
X16
. Depending on
the measurement system not all measurement options are available. The exact description of the
individual measurement ranges can be taken from the Application-Note "AN006 - Upstream-
Monitoring-System UMS" on www.kws-electronic.de under "SUPPORT" -> "Application Notes".
20.4.1
Real-time spectrum
Selection with the function key
SPECTRUM
. Now the real-time spectrum of the cluster received is
shown on the headend over the total return channel range. The spectrum measurement can be left
again with the function key
BACK
(if the function keys are not shown, any function key can be
pressed). If supported by the headend, also a Max-Hold mode can be activated via the function
keys in the spectrum view.
