Observe transport width
Observe the permissible transport widths. Put the machine in the
transport position and attach lights, warning signs and protective
equipment. The driver and keeper of the vehicle are liable for any
non-compliance with national traffic regulations.
Clean lighting equipment before travelling on the road
All lighting equipment must be cleaned before road transport.
Crop residue or dirt may cover up the lighting equipment and ad-
versely affect its correct operation. This could cause traffic acci-
dents and accidents with fatal consequences.
Remove tine supports
For operation on public roads and in the park position, the tine
supports which are level with the field of vision (2.0 m) must be re-
moved. There is otherwise the risk of traffic accidents and acci-
dents with fatal consequences.
Observe the contour of the terrain
Move the machine onto ground that is as flat as possible before
changing from the work position to the transport position. Avoid
inclines on which the combination (tractor and machine) could slip
or overturn. There is an increased risk of tipping and injury in a
position at right angles to the direction of the slope.
