Process of the Outswing Option
The door unit rolls out to the machine just like a standard in-swing. Pre-adjustments must be made
to the
Sill Shelf
height and the
Door Length
settings.
Adjusting the Sill Height
For part identification, see Figure 4 on page 2-10.
Before processing the door, set the
Sill Shelf Assembly
to accept an inswing door or an outswing
door. Follow the steps below for on
both the fixed and movable fence sides
.
1.
Determine if the incoming door is an outswing door or inswing door.
2.
With no air applied to the
Shelf Popup Cylinder
, loosen the unlock/lock bolt.
3.
Grasp the
Adjustment Rail Handle
and move it until the desired bolt aligns with the
reference bolt on the lower brass block. See settings at the next 2 steps.
4.
If setting to an outswing door, align
Outswing Bolt
to the reference bolt.
Note: Outswing Bolt
may be adjusted if a little wiggle room is needed. Loosen the
Outswing bolt, adjust the height and secure it.
Do not adjust the reference
bolt
Loosen the bolt to free the
assembly for adjustment
