Basic Operation
This section describes the basic operation of the 558. This section includes:
• How to power up the 558
• How to power down the 558
• How to Use the Emergency Stop
How to Power up the 558
To start the machine, follow the steps below:
1.
Pull out the Green Control Transformer Button to energize system.
2.
Press the Machine Green Start Button.
Tip: The lights on the six light panel should all illuminate on a successful start-up.
3.
Wait for the computer to boot up and the 558 Start-Up screen to display.
4.
Remove any door in the feed system. Make sure area is clear.
5.
Press the
Home Machine
button to home the machine and set the reference for the
machine.
Control Transformer – Pull out
the control knob to turn ener-
gize the system.
Push the knob in to de-ener-
gize system.
Machine – Start/Stop – Push
the Green Start button to
start the machine operation.
Push the Red Stop button to
stop the machine operation.
Control Transformer must be
pulled out.
Edger Feed Speed - To
decrease the cutting
speed, turn the Edger
Feed Speed counter
clockwise.To increase
the cutting speed turn
the knob clockwise.
Home- press to Home Machine
