Working with the system
6.3.1
Switch-on
■
Before switching on, please make sure that the mains voltage matches the value spec-
ified on the nameplate.

Switch off the HR 200 using the

mains switch.
■
Connect the power supply cable to the power socket.

Unlock the emergency stop switch

by turning the red knob.
■
Switch on the HR 200 using the

mains switch.
■
The operation indicator

lights up and the fan is started.
6.3.2
Desoldering
■
Position the PCB in the PCB holder at a distance of about 30 mm below the top heater.
CAUTION! Hazard of material damage!
Also adjacent areas are heated and must, therefore, be protected against
heat if necessary.

Set the output level of the top heater using control knob

. If available and desired,
adjust the output level for the bottom heater using control knob

CAUTION! Burn hazard!
All the heated components of the device and the surrounding housing
parts as well as the PCB holder, the PCB and the components become hot.
CAUTION! Risk of poisoning by inhalation!
When soldering, harmful gas emissions are generated. Provide adequate
ventilation or extraction
. Please observe the safety data sheets of the
solder pastes and fluxes used.

When using the optional bottom heater for high-mass PCBs, wait a certain time for
the PCB to be preheated before pressing the foot switch. Optionally, the tempera
-
ture sensor AccuTC and the temperature measurement device 0DTM103 (see list of
accessories) can be used.
