Installation
For safety reasons the following
minimum clearances must be
observed between the cooker and the
hood:
– 45 cm above an electric cooking zone,
– 65 cm above a gas cooking zone,
– 65 cm above an electric grill from our
range
For other cooking appliances, safety
clearances indicated in the respective
assembly and instruction manuals are to
be observed.
If various cooking appliances, for which
diverse safety clearances apply, are in
operation under the cooker hood, the
largest safety clearance indicated
applies.
The hood may not be installed
above heating devices which use
solid fuels.
Only pipes and hoses made of non-
combustible material may be used
for installing the exhaust air duct. These
pipes and hoses are available at special-
ised stores or through customer service.
The exhaust air may not be fed into
flue-gas or exhaust gas chimneys
which are in operation, nor may it be fed
into shafts which serve to ventilate
rooms installed with furnaces.
Public regulations are to be
observed if the exhaust air is fed
into a flue-gas or exhaust gas chimney
which is not in operation.
