The various hood functions can be
activated by means of extending and
retracting the fume canopy.
Switching on the lamp
The lamp for lighting the hob area can be
switched on or off independently of the
fan.
Pull the fume canopy out
approximately 1.5 cm.
If the lamp was switched on when the
fume canopy was last retracted, it will
switch on again.
If not:
press the button for the hob area
lamp.
When the light is switched on the control
lamp on the button lights up.
Switching off the lamp
Retract the fume canopy.
When the fume canopy is extended
again, the lamp will switch on.

Press the button for the hob area
lamp.
The control lamp will always switch off.
Switching on the fan
Pull the fume canopy out
approximately 2 cm.
The motor will switch on at power level
“II”.
The control lamp of the on/off button for
the fan and the second control lamp of
the –/+ buttons will light up.
Selecting the power level
low setting high setting
Select the required power setting with
the – /+ buttons.
The control lamps will indicate the power
setting selected.
The power settings “I” to “III” (green con-
trol lamps) are intended for standard
methods of cooking, depending on the
density of cooking fumes.
An intensive setting (yellow control
lamp) is available for temporarily dense
fumes and strong odours, for example
those which occur when searing meat.
Switching off the fan
Retract the fume canopy. When the
canopy is extended again, the fan will
re-commence operation at power
level “II” .
or
Press the on/off button of the fan.
The control lamps will always switch off.
