13 Descaling

Preparing for descaling
➤
Switch off the appliance.
➤
Press the and buttons at the same time.
– flashes in the display.
– Then flashes in the display.
➤
Pour the entire contents of the special descaler undiluted into the water
tank.
➤
Slot the water tank into position in the water tank compartment.
Descaling phase
➤
Press the adjusting knob to confirm the settings.
– remains in the display for about 30 minutes.
The appliance must be switched off and have cooled down before
descaling.
Remove any accessories, cookware and tableware and any other
objects from out of the cooking space.
The appliance door must be kept closed during descaling.
If an acoustic signal is emitted and the above display does not
appear, then the appliance has not cooled down enough.
Descaling cannot start.
For safety reasons, once started the descaling process cannot be
aborted.
