Putting into service
Uncoupling the machine
- Position chocks underneath the machine wheels.
- Disconnect and store hydraulic hoses in holder 4
- Disconnect safety chain from tractor (if so equipped).
- Remove pin (3) and jack (1) from its holder (5).
- Install jack (1) on tongue jack mount (6).
- Secure jack (1) with pin (3).
- Turn jack handle (2) to lower the jack base to the
ground and keep turning until the tongue weight is off
the tractor hitch.
- Remove hitch pin.
The machine is uncoupled.
Park the machine on fairly level ground.
Preferably park the machine in the transport
position with the transport lock installed.
To prevent the implement hitch from raising
rapidly, always position the rake arms in the
transport position against the stop pads or in
the operating position with the rake wheels
touching the ground.
When parking the machine for a long period, we
recommend raising the rake arms until they rest
against their stop in order to depressurize the
hydraulic circuit.
