Check the throttle cable routing.
The throttle cable must be routed to the carburetor behind
the handlebars and above the fuel tank bracket.
» If the throttle cable routing is not as specified:
–
Correct the throttle cable routing.
Finishing work
–
Install the fuel tank. ( p. 52)

Mount the seat. ( p. 57)

Check the rubber grips on the handlebar for damage, wear,
and looseness.
» If a rubber grip is damaged, worn, or loose:
–
Change the rubber grip.

Secure the rubber grip at two locations with the retaining wire.
Securing wire (54812016000)
Wire twister forceps (U6907854)
The twisted wire ends face away from the palms and are
bent in toward the rubber grip.
