Remove gear oil monitoring screw

Remove gear oil monitoring screw

Remove filler plug
. Position the motorcycle upright.

Add gear oil until it flows out of the hole in the gear oil monitoring screw.
Gear oil (ATF Dexron 3) (
–
Mount and tighten screw
in the opening used to check the gear oil level.

Mount and tighten filler plug

Exhaust gases are toxic and inhaling them may result
in unconsciousness and death.

Always make sure there is sufficient ventilation when running the
engine.

Use an effective exhaust extraction system when starting or running the
engine in an enclosed space.

Start the engine and check that it is oil-tight.
