Descaling

The appliance notifies
you when a descaling
program is necessary. Descaling your machine
ensures its proper
functioning and eliminates
any deposit of limescale
or tartar This step is ery
important to ensure the
proper functioning and
longevity of your appliance.
Accessory required: 1 KRUPS
descaling sachet (n°3) and a
container with at least 600 ml
capacity.
When it is necessary to run a descaling
programme, the appliance notifies you.
When the machine starts up, the white
or red white warning LED and the
LED on the interface will light

Once the function is active, you can also
begin descaling the machine on demand
by pressing and selecting .

Important : You do not have to run the maintenance programme as soon as the appliance requests it, but you must do
it reasonably soon after. If the cleaning is postponed the alert will remain displayed as long as the operation
has not been performed.

Important :
If you unplug your machine during maintenance or in the event of electrical failure, the cleaning
programme will resume from the start. It will not be possible to postpone this operation: it is mandatory
to rinse the water circuit. In this case a new cleaning tablet may be necessary.
OTHER FUNCTIONS
HOW TO ACCESS YOUR MACHINE’S SETTINGS
As this machine does not have a screen, the settings are integrated as a second function of certain buttons.
To access the settings menu:
• The appliance must be plugged in but not switched on
• Press for 3 seconds
• When the LEDs under the first three recipes blink and you hear a beep, you are in the settings. You can then navigate using
the ristretto, espresso and long coffee buttons.

Press then to set the coffee temperature. There are 3 temperature adjustment
levels for your coffee drinks.

Auto OFF You can choose the length of time after which your selected appliance will automatically
turn off in order to optimise your energy consumption: 10 minutes, 20 minutes or
30 minutes.

Automatic rinsing
You can have your machine automatically carry out rinsing every time it is switched
on. The default setting is inactive. Press then to set auto rinsing to ON.
