Lubrication

8.1

Special Notes on Safety

•

Repair, maintenance, care and cleaning work may only be carried out when the machine is
at a standstill. Switch off the engine and remove the ignition key.

•

Secure the round baler and the tractor from rolling away.

•

When the tail gate is open, secure it from lowering with the shut-off tap.

•

On completion of maintenance and care work remount all protective plates and protective
devices properly.

•

Avoid skin contact with oil and grease.

•

In case of injury caused by oil, seek medical attention immediately.

8.2

General

Multi-purpose greases should be used to lubricate. If a
special grease or oil is required, this will be listed in the
chapter "Technical Data".

PTO Shaft

The lubrication intervals for the PTO shaft are indicated
in the adjacent diagram. Further information can be
found in the PTO shaft manufacturer's operating
instructions.
