Swinging the right-hand / left-hand side parts into working position
Note
Side parts must only be swivelled when the forage harvester is at a standstill!

Make sure that the plant divider is in the highest position of the transport position before folding
down the side parts.

Make certain the shut-off valve (4) is opened before the side parts fold down.
•
Swing the side parts (1,2) into working position by pressing the actuating keys (3).
Note
The hydraulic procedure of the folding down process of the side parts is predetermined by the
hydraulic control. First, the left-hand side part is lowered, then the right-hand side part is
lowered. Thereafter the tubular bars on the right and left-hand sides swivel upward.
•
Keep pressing the actuation key (3) until the locking bolt (5) of the left-hand and right-
hand side parts is in guidance (6) and the tubular bars (7) (right hand and left hand
machine side) are in working position.
