ASSEMBLY INSTRUCITONS
4.
If your tree is not yet standing straight, grab the tree at shoulder level and move it horizontally until you find the optimal position.
5.
Push the foot pedal until you hear the ‘DING’ of the bell inside the foot pedal. The Christmas tree stand is now secured.
3.
Set the tree into the middle of your tree stand onto the spike. Push down the trunk onto the spike. Push down the foot pedal
several times (B) with your foot (wear suitable footwear) until you feel firm contact of the claws to the trunk. This preliminary setting
allows the tree to stand by itself without any danger of tilting while permitting fine adjustment to be made in the position of the tree
held by the clamping fixture. Step back and check if your tree is standing straight.
6.
Fill in water only after the tree is fixed. Fill in water slowly, as close as possible to the trunk, and between the clamps.
7.
Stop filling water into the tank, when you see the red water indicator (C) raising. The water tank is now full!

8.
To take down the tree, unlock the lever lock (A). Hold the upper part of the tree in place, and push the foot pedal upwards with
the foot. The clamping device will open. Remove the Christmas tree from the tree stand by lifting it up vertically.
9.
Empty any remaining water from the tank (D). Clean and rinse thoroughly using water and a soft cloth. Dry well.
TAKING DOWN THE TREE
Attention: Overfilling will result in water emerging under the base plate, which may result in damage, especially
underneath the Christmas tree stand. Check the stand for damage before each use; check especially whether the
stand is seal, to prevent damage from leaking water.
When buying a tree, please make sure that:
- the trunk is cut off straight and even (there is a danger of tilting otherwise!)
- the trunk is not made pointed (the bark transports water)
- cut off at least 2 cm from the trunk (the tree can hardly absorb any water through the closed pores otherwise)
- all branches must be removed from the trunk in the area of the adjustment claws (about 13 cm from the bottom end).

stand has a secure base. A thick carpet is not a secure base!
Only use the tree stand on a solid, level and even surface. Un-
even or inclined surfaces cause reduced stability and enhance
the risk of the tree to fall.
4. The Christmas tree stand is not a toy! Do not allow children to
operate or use it.
5. While pushing down the foot lever with your foot, ensure that
there are no hands or other body parts in between the clamps
and the trunk as it can cause serious injuries by squeezing.
Watch your children!
6. This KRINNER Christmas tree stand is a safety product. Do not
alter the construction of the KRINNER Christmas tree stand. THIS
WILL VOID WARRANTY: Also do not use the KRINNER Christ-
mas tree stand if it shows any damage.
7. Repair may strictly only be carried out by authorized personal.
8. If electric lighting is used, do not allow this electric lighting to
burn unattended. Caution! Water is a conductor. Ensure that
electric wires are in a safe distance to the water tank of the
Christmas tree stand.
9. A fresh and green Christmas tree not only looks better but also
reduces the fire hazard. The trunk must have a fresh, clean and
even cut to absorb water. The trunk may not be drilled in the
middle, the bark must be intact as the tree absorbs the water in
between the stem and the bark. Therefore always keep sufficient
water in the tree stand. Only fill in tab water.
10. Caution! Adding too much water will lead to overflowing
and may cause damage to the surface underneath. For the cor-
rect filling strictly follow the instructions under chapter ‘filling the
container.’
11. Keep your tree away from fireplaces, heater vents and any
open flame.
12. Never allow real or electric candles to burn unattended. We
recommend not using real candles once the tree has dried out.
13. Ensure that the tree is securely fastened, well balanced and
positioned in the middle of the tree stand before applying deco-
rations and lighting.
