Presenting Content from External Wired Device
This feature is supported by
VIA Campus² PLUS
only.
VIA Campus² PLUS
enables you to show content on the main display from an external device
connected to the HDMI IN connector. The HDMI input can be used for a stand-alone device or
switcher with multiple sources.
To present content from an external wired device:
•
Connect the device to the
VIA Campus² PLUS
HDMI IN Connector
.
If there are no other presenters, your content is presented on the entire screen.
If there are other presenters, your content is presented on the main display as one user
screen.
A green check appears on the HDMI Input icon on the dashboard features.
On the VIA app dashboard, click the HDMI Input icon to toggle showing and hiding the
HDMI input on the display.
Showing HDMI Input as Floating Window
This feature is accessed only from the Gateway Dashboard (see
).
To show the HDMI Input content as a floating window on the main display:
•
On the VIA gateway dashboard, click
Features
> PIP
.
A green check next to the PIP (Picture In Picture) icon and the content from the
connected device appears on the main display as a floating window that can be moved
to any position.
