Operating principle
The INFRAcontrol motion sensors are passive-infrared mo-
tion sensor. The sensors of the INFRAcontrol motion sensor
can detect and evaluate invisible heat rays of moving bod-
ies (humans, animals, etc.), and convert them electronically
switching processes. However, heat rays cannot penetrate
obstacles, such as walls, glass panes, etc. This must be taken
into consideration when selecting a suitable installation loca-
tion. If possible, the motion sensor should be installed so that
it is protected against direct sunlight in order to prevent un-
wanted switching processes.
Note: cover frame not included in the scope of delivery.
Installation instructions
The flush-mounted motion sensor is designed for installation
in flush-mounted boxes

The motion sensor can be attached in the flush-mounted
box with the aid of retaining clamps, or the support frame
can be screwed to the flush-mounted box by means of the
flush-mounted box machine screws.
