- The thermostat will now regulate the heater to turn on if the tempera-
ture is too low and off once the desired temperature is reached.
- Press Temp +and Temp- at the same time to speed up the fan or to
slow it down. The dispaly shows for a moment flashing what you have
set: LL= low HH= high.
- Press the timer button to set the timer. The dispaly changes from
degrees to hours. Hold in the button to enter more hours, up to a ma-
ximum of 12.
If you set the timer while the heater is on, you set the number of hours
after which the heater turns itself off.
- To switch off the heater you must first set it to standby by pressing the
ON/standby button. The heater will stop heating, but the fan coolsfor
another 60 second (see display) before switching off. Yo can then use
the main switch to turn off the heater properly (O pressed). Never leave
the plug in the socket when the heater is not in use.
SAFETY FEATURES
In case of internal overheating, the overheating safeguard will switch the
ehater off. This may occur of the heater cannot give off enough heat or if
it cannot draw in enough fresh air. As mentioned above, this is generally
caused by (partially) covering the heater or obstructing the air intake and/
or outlet grills or installing the heater too close to a wall or something si-
milar. When the overheating safeguard switches the heater off, you need
to turn the switch to the ‘O position’ (off) and remove the heater from
teh socket. Allow the heater to cool down and make sure yhat whatever
caused the over heating is removed or amended. The heater can then
be reused. If the problem persists or if you cannot find an oobvious cau-
se for the overheating, turn the heater off immediatly and take the plug
out of the socket
