of the chassis for correct airflow (front to back). Use caution and make sure that
cables are not pinched beneath the heat sink. (See Figure 17.)

Loosely screw in the captive screws on the heat sink corners by tightening one,
then the one diagonally opposite, and so on.

Gradually and equally tighten each captive screw in diagonal order until each is
firmly tightened. See Figure 17
for the order.
CAUTION: the torque spec for these screws is 8 inch pounds. Be careful not to exceed
it.
Configuring Jumpers on the Server Board
The jumpers are located on the T5520UR server board. To work with the jumpers defined
in this section, you must first power down the chassis, remove the back cover, remove
the riser card assembly, and remove the processor air duct, as described in Section
3.2, “General Installation Procedures”. The other components on the server board can
remain in place.
The server board has several 3-pin jumper blocks that can be used to configure,
protect, or recover specific features of the server board. This section shows the
jumper blocks available and what they do. For detailed information about using these
jumpers, see the

, Chapter
6, “Jumper Blocks”.
