Parallel Interface Connector LPT1
This connector is available as a 25-pin D SUB socket. The parallel interface LPT1
supports different modes: standard parallel port, EPP and ECP.
It is used for the connection of an external printer and can also be used for other
external devices, which can be connected via a parallel port. Nonetheless,
depending on the device, the manufacturers instructions must be observed and
the necessary software driver installed.
This connection isn't available (fig. 4: pos. 9) if your Box-PC is
equipped with a sound card. The LPT interface is located for this
computer configuration at the interface marked with
„Ext.Floppy/LPT“ (fig. 4.: pos. 1).
„Industrial USB“ Interface Connector
The USB interface is available as a 9-pin D SUB socket and allows you to
connect several peripherals with USB plug by use of the Kontron USB adapter
cable (see fig. 5).

The industrial-USB interface connector (fig. 4: pos. 10) isn’t
available if your Box-PC is equipped with a sound card.
