Replacing the Lithium Battery
The SBC board of your Box-PC is equipped with a lithium battery.
Lithium Battery on the PCI-SBC
If your Box-PC is equipped with a PCI only SBC, the lithium battery can be
replaced only in the factory (the battery is soldered on the SBC card).
Please observe the safety instruction described in the section
„Instructions for the Lithium Battery“.
Lithium Battery on the PISA-SBC
To replace the battery please proceed as follows:
1.
Turn off the Box-PC. Disconnect the power cord from power source.
2.
Remove the Box-PC by means of the QCM (see chapter Quick Change
Mechanism) from the cover.
3.
If your Box-PC is fitted with expansion cards, please remove these cards at
this time.
4.
Remove the battery by pressing outwards the ejector spring (as marked in the
picture).

5.
Insert the new battery in the battery socket.
