Product Specifications

This device supports the BootP protocol, which is part of the TCP/IP
protocol. If the BootP server has been enabled with the Network Setup
utility, the IP address for the copier will be automatically assigned. For
details, refer to the User Manual included on the PageScope CD.

AutoIP is a function that allows the network interface card to
automatically assign IP addresses that begin with 169.254 and use a
subnet mask setting of 255.255.0.0. If there are two or more devices on
the same network that use the AutoIP function, these devices can
communicate with each other.
