6. CARE, MAINTENANCE AND REPLACEMENT OF WEARING PARTS

WINTER STORAGE

Clean the plough properly
•
Ensure that all wearing parts are in good condition, replace if necessary (so that
the plough is ready for the next season)
•
Tighten all bolts and nuts
•
Check the pre-charge pressure in the accumulator
•
Lubricate all lubrication points with grease and oil
•
Protect the mouldboards and all the shiny details by lubricating them with either
oil, under coat protection or acid-free grease
•
The stone trip system should be stored in a pressurized condition so that all trip
cylinders are fully extended and filled with oil.
•
Check the hydraulic hoses on the stone trip system and replace any damageed
parts.
Always use original spare parts!
