Set the frame lock bar to LOCK position (L) to lock the
front and rear frames.

Use the lifting tools such as the wire rope and sling suita-
ble for the weight of the machine as shown in the figure of
the lifting position. Extend the wire rope and fix the ma-
chine.
NOTICE
• Use protectors, etc. so that the wire ropes will not
be broken at sharp edges or narrow places.
• Use spreaders and bars having sufficient width so
that they will not touch the machine.

Just before slinging the machine, lift it off the ground by
100 to 200 mm while it is being slung.
6.
Check that the wire ropes are free of looseness and the machine is kept on a level state.
7.
Sling the machine slowly.
PRECAUTIONS FOR DISASSEMBLING AND ASSEMBLING WORK EQUIP-
MENT
When reassembling the work equipment after disassembly, inspection, and repair, observe the following to pre-
vent scuffing of the pin and bushing.
• Remove the soil and old grease from the pin, bushing, and around the boss to clean them.
The soil may enter in the grease hole of pin and groove on bushing, remove it with care. Even a little soil
enters between the pin and bushing, it may cause a premature scuffing.
• Align the center of pin and hole adequately so that the pin gets into the hole smoothly.
If you drive in the pin forcibly, the pin and bushing may be damaged and cause premature scuffing.
