An elastic rubber bag (1) containing nitrogen is

fitted inside the accumulator to maintain oil pres-

sure in the circuit to which the accumulator is con-

nected.

OPERATION

When the engine is running the chamber

of the

rubber bag (1) (containing nitrogen) is compressed

byoil under pressure coming from line

If the oil under in line

falls below the maximum

calibration pressure (even after intensive use), the

rubber bag (1) will expand due to pressure from

the nitrogen it.
