TESTING AND ADJUSTMENTS CONTROL AND ADJUSTMENT OF THE INJECTION TIMING
6 - Rotate the injection pump (5) towards the outside or
towards the motor, after having loosened the pump
(6) retaining nuts.
. To BRING FORWARD the injection, rotate the
pump (5) towards the outside.

To DELAY the injection rotate the pump (6) to-
wards the cylinder block.
H Check the extent of the movement on the scale
(7).
7 - Lock the nuts (6) that fasten the pump to its block.
Pump fastening nuts: 25 ± 35 Nm
H After adjustment of the fuel injection timing:
8 - Connect the fuel delivery tubes (4) to the pump and
replace the clamp (3).
Delivery tube couplings: 31.85 w 2.45 Nm
9 - Bleed any air from the fuel circuit.
