Image files saved on a floppy disk using Save Searched Image functions can not
be accessed with Kollector program. To open the file, use Windows-based
graphics program, such as Photoshop, Paintshop Pro, etc.
16) Backup Using DVD or Other Devices
Exports video clips using Kollector wavelet technology to DVD, CD-ROM or
other digital media. The backup is typically made for long term archival. Select
the date, camera, time and save the image file at Removable disk

Kollector system is configured for use with a Panasonic DVD as a basic backup
device. To backup the image files, just connect your backup device to Kollector
and restart the system (Press Power Button again on the front panel after shutting
down the system). To use another backup device, install device driver before
starting the backup. Kollector supports several backup devices including DVD,
MOD, JAZZ and ZIP. To use DVD device for backup, first turn on DVD, and then
Kollector power. If the instruction is not properly followed, Kollector may not
perceive the DVD as a peripheral device. Make sure the DVD power is turned off
before disconnecting SCSI Cable.
To back up the recorded file,

Click the Backup button

Backup box appears and is ready for file selection. Select the desired date,
time and camera number to backup.
