When files are encoded with a password, the password must be entered each
time the files are searched through Kollector Viewer. The files can not be viewed
without first entering a proper password
Once a password is entered and selected, Enter password button can not be
pressed again. To change the password, click Modify password button and
insert new password after entering the original password.
The new password will be applied to new files recorded in the following hour.
Example: When a new password is selected at 3:20, the password will be used to
encode recordings after 4:00. Images recorded between 3:20 and 4:00 will not be
linked with the new password. However, when the current recording is stopped
and a new recording was started, then the new password is encoded from the
beginning of the new recording.
Modify Password
Modifies administrator’s password. Click
Modify Password
button and then
follow the same steps as explained above in the assigning password section. If
you turn the checkmark on the
Save Password
, you will not be asked again to
enter the password next time. Same password is used in both Kollector and
Kollector Viewer.
Recording Information
Displays the remaining hard disk space available for further recordings.
Recording Display Mode
Select a screen mode from 1, 4, 6, 9, 13, or 16 split screen mode.
Camera Sequence Selection
Selects the order of display of cameras. The orders are different according to the
recording screen mode selected.
1-Screen mode
: When the 1-screen mode is selected, choose the order of
cameras to be displayed one camera at a time.
Example: When a 4-camera system with 1-screen mode and the display order
of 4-2-3-1 is set at 3 seconds of automatic alternation mode time, the current
