8. Fasten the Receptor in Place
NOTE:
If the unit is shimmed, make sure the length of the fasteners is sufficient to span the shims and penetrate
into the studs at least 1” (2.5cm).

Tack the corners of the receptor into place using #6 large-head galvanized nails (not supplied) to fasten the unit.

Carefully remove the walls.

Shim the receptor as needed at each of the remaining wall studs and finish nailing the receptor into place in the
predrilled holes. (Figure 2)
9. Caulk the Receptor

Apply a bead of caulk around the receptor where the shower walls come in contact with the receptor.
