2. Plumbing Preparation
NOTE:
Locate the drain overflow so the PVC drain pipe will not exceed 48
″
(122cm) in length.
Position the plumbing supplies and drain trap according to the roughing-in dimensions and the
room design. Cap the supplies and check for leaks.
3. Install the Waterfall
Draw pencil lines on both waterfall mounting studs exactly 75
″
(190.5cm) above the subfloor. Be
precise with these measurements.
You will use these marks to position the waterfall at the correct
height.
Position and level the waterfall between the mounting studs and align the bottom metal flange
edges with the pencil lines. Mark the screw locations on the studs.
Secure the waterfall to the studs with the four drywall screws provided. Tighten securely.
CHECK POINT # 2.
Confirm that:
The plumbing supplies are installed and capped.
The Waterfall bottom edge is positioned exactly 75
″
(190.5cm) above the subfloor.
The Waterfall is secured to the studs with four drywall screws.
4. Install the Pump Box
The pump box contains a 2-hp pump and motor, along with the control box and 4 kW heater.
Remove the suction bracket assembly from the pump box. The suction bracket can later be installed
in any chosen location within 48
″
(122cm) of the pump box.
