Setting the temperature
• Switch on the unit, the display will show the default tempera-
ture (100°C). Keep temperature controls pressed. When C
flashes, use
+
or
–
to change temperature setting by steps of
5°C. Display will switch back indicating the actual temperature
(L50 = lower than 50°C).
• Press the power button for 12 seconds to change the display
from °C to °F and back.
Temperature range:
100° C to 180° C (212°F to 356°F)
Swiching the unit on and off
Press the power button for 2 seconds to switch on the unit.
Press the power button again for 2 seconds to turn it off. The
curler will shut down automatically after 45 minutes without
operation.

Curling
• Make sure the hair is clean and dry.
• Set temperature (normally to around 120°C).
• Starting at the hair tips, clamp a strand onto the tong; gently
wind up to the roots. Keep strand curled up for a few seconds.
For extra control, hold the swivel cool tip.
• Release the strand by slightly pressing the tong lever.
• Let the unit cool down before storing it.
Disposal
The crossed-out wheeled bin logo requires the separate
collection of waste electric and electronic equipment
(WEEE). Electric and electronic equipment may contain
dangerous and hazardous substances. Do not dispose of this
appliance as unsorted municipal waste. Return it to a designated
collection point for the recycling of WEEE. By doing so, you will
help to conserve resources and protect the environment. Con-
tact your retailer or local authorities for more information.

This appliance is intended for curling scalp hair. Only use accord-
ing to these instructions. Improper use is dangerous and will
void any warranty claim. Observe the safety instructions.
