PM TUNE (PM tuning)
This function is used to set the Performance Monitor properly tuned in.

Calibration of the performance monitor must be made when the radar set is first
installed, or either the magnetron or the receiver front-end module (MIC, or Microwave
Integrated Circuit) is replaced in the course of repair. Carry out the following
procedure to perform the calibration.
(1) Highlight the figure(s) shown right of the words PM TUNE and press the ENT key
to set the ready to select status.
(2) Press the Joystick up or down to set the largest performance monitor video.
Press the ENT key to fix the tuning for the Performance Monitor.
(3) Highlight
CALIBRATION GO
shown below the PM TUNE sign. The PM Level
calibration will commence.
(4) Press the ENT key to complete the calibration. The RX, TX, and SYSTEM bar
graphs will be fully displayed, as a result.
RX:
Receiver Performance Indicator.
TX:
Transmitter Performance Indicator.
SYSTEM:
System Performance Indicator.

ALARM TEST (Alarm System Test)
This function is used to verify that the alarm function is in normal order.

OFF, ON
Carry out the following operation to perform this function.
(1) Highlight the words ALARM TEST.
(2) Press the ENT key to set the selection ready status.
(3) Press the joystick down to select the ON sign.
(4) Press the ENT key to fix the selection. The alarm test will start.
(5) In approximately 10 seconds, various alarm messages will be shown and an audio
alarm will be activated. (NOTE: NO audio alarm sounds if the BUZZER OFF status
is activated)
(6) To cancel the ALARM TEST function, set the ALARM TEST to OFF, or set the
radar to standby mode once, and then transmit again.
