4 Install the new pre-separation pad. Be sure it snaps into place.
5 Lower the roller cover.
6 Close the swing out door.
The cleaning procedures below should be performed daily. More
frequent cleaning may be necessary depending on throughput
and document type. Daily cleaning of the feed module tires and
separation roller tires prevent ink, toner, dust and paper
contaminates from collecting on the rollers, which help
documents to separate properly when feeding.
1 Open the swing out door.
2 Remove the feed module.
3 Lift the roller cover.
4 Remove the feed module and separation roller.
