Invalid Ribbon Type
An error message appears when this occurs.
Possible Cause
Possible Solution
Ribbon is not seated correctly in
ribbon carrier
•
Re-seat the ribbon in the ribbon
carrier. Make sure the bobbins
engage in the ribbon carrier.
(See illustration below.)
Barcode on ribbon is scratched,
defective, or dirty.
•
Check the barcode for damage.
See your dealer if it is scratched.
•
Gently wipe the barcode with a
lint-free cloth.
