2. Discharging the PxtFX energy management device

Connect the PxtFX energy management device, terminal X5
,
and the PxtEX extension unit, terminal X1
, with the "VBST-PXT" cable.
The PxtFX energy management device is discharged.
Wait a few minutes.
Disconnect the "VBST-PXT" cable from the PxtFX energy management device and
measure the voltage at terminal X5
(pins 1 and 3) using a multimeter.
If voltage is still present:
Plug in the "VBST-PXT" cable and repeat the procedure until no more voltage is
measured.
The PxtFX energy management device is discharged.
